CBS Ambush Makeover #2

Makeovers are fun and everybody deserves one! Today CBS Better Mornings Atlanta news reporter, Corinna Allen ambushed Jessica Gowen. Jessica is the owner of CORE Pilates studio in Atlanta,GA. Jessica's clientel has become so large that she and her husband have decided to open another pilates studio in Buckhead.

Here is the best pic I can get of Jessica before here dramatic makeover. Jessica's everyday look is a ponytail and pilates attire. Today, myself and the team @ WAX studio in Atlanta is going to bring out the diva in Jessica!
Raney O'Keefe is a certified eyelash specialist in Atlanta. RAney is going to apply individual lashes on Jessica to give her eyes a more dramatic look! " Eyelash extensions are used to open up the eyes, so they can appear brighter and larger." - Raney
Jessica's has beautiful healthy long hair. "When you are doing a makeover it is important that you keep in mind the clients' lifestyle." - Zavia Cisca's palette
How I styled Jessica's hair? I round brushed Jessica's hair to give it body. I took small sections and pincurled them as a quick set to maintain the curl and the body.

Makeup? On Jessica, I used jouer Cosmetics. I chose Jouer because it gives a very natural finish. Also, Jouer labels their products for easy recognization. Since Jessica is wearing false lashes, I did not use ant procducts that will be difficult to remove. Such as: waterproof mascara or liquid gel liners.
As you can see, Jessica is all ready for the grand opening night of her new pilates studio!

What's in for the Fall?

"Bold Lips"-hues of reds, oranges and pinks. Find your shade. These colors all come in many differrent shades. it may be difficult to find the shade that you feel comfortable with. When you are using bold lip colors, you shopuld remember that you want your lipstick to looking vibrant and to last for hours. I would reccommend Estee Lauder Stay-in-place longwear lipstick. I love using this lipstick on my clients....especially brides.
"My Advice?": Be Creative! Bring out the artist in you.
Get 2 or 3 shades of lipstick and mix them together to create your "Signature Palette shade". Tip: Go to your local craft store and pick up an artist palette. which costs $3-$5 along with a spatula (.99) so you can create your new shade! It's fun, easy and very affordable. "Sultry Eyes"- "Lined" eyes are back in! Try lining eyes with a bronze , olive or even black kohl pencil. For Eyeshadow: Shades of plum, pewter, gray and taupe are suitablefor the Fall 2009 trend season."Eyebrows"- As natural as possible. "Strip lashes or individuals"?- Individuals! Use the individual lashes to fill in any gaps or spaces that you may have with your natural lashes. Strip lashes tend to give you a more false look. It's about enhancing your beauty by accentuating the areas of your Palette!
